Pretty Poison’s Favorite Coasters: Part 4

To celebrate summer, I wanted to list ten of my favorite coasters from across the country!

These picks are in no particular order.

Intimidator 305

Intimidator 305 was the 2nd giga-coaster to hit the states. This 90 mile per hour steel coaster is located at Kings dominion in Doswell, VA and is named after Dale Earnhardt. It tops out at 305 feet high and spans 5,100 feet of track! It has been described as a mix between two Cedar Points greats (both also on this list), the Millennium Force and the Maverick!

The Tatsu roller coaster is named after Japanese mythology and means “Flying Beast.” The coaster is the tallest, fastest and longest flying coaster. It is also the only flying coaster with a zero gravity roll and the worlds highest pretzel loop. It is definitely appropriately named! If you think you can ride this beast without puking, be sure to visit Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California.
